We've been hard at work lately on some big organisational improvements within the dev team, the result of which will start to show later on in the year (which are all very exciting for us, anyway). Aside from this, we've had a few updates:
iPhone App

First of which is our new iPhone app, which I expect you can't really have missed with all the ads across the site. From an entirely objective standpoint, I can tell you it's the best app for video game information on the iPhone. Or at least the best one with 'VideoGamer.com' in the title.
Pretty much any bit of content you can view on the site you can view on the app, including our front page content, videos, news, screenshots (with pinch zoom), cheats and features. There's also a search if you're looking for something specific. With 5/5 stars on the App Store, people seem to like it, so if you haven't already go download it now. It also works on iPod Touch and iPads.
MMO Channel

Another addition to the site this month is a Massive Multiplayer Online channel, which we've been meaning to launch for a long time. Despite this, I think it's a great time for MMOs with Star Wars: The Old Republic round the corner, and we hope the channel serves MMO lovers well with the latest news, opinion features, and video. Let us know what you think of it.
We also have a pretty extensive list of all the major MMOs, and their various attributes, to both organise the content and help you decide which one to try out.
The channel is being run by the delightful Emily Gera, with regular opinion features on the state of play of MMOs.
Site Speed Optimisations
Lastly, we've spent quite a bit of time in the backend (ha ha?) working on improving the load times of pages. We've achieved a pretty massive increase in speed, which we found is noticeable when browsing around. Maybe if we carry on, pages you want will load before you've even clicked a link... watch this space.
Until next time... happy gaming!

@BC_Animus: We plan to release on all major mobile platforms - we're still working out the timelines for development (lots still to come), but it should be at some point during next year.
