| Interesting article, and a mighty fine way to enter the 'next' gen gaming arena. Any chance of putting together some sort of PS3 equivilent (for the people who already own a 360)? Albeit at a higher price ofcourse. |

| Jeez -- now, lets turn that around:
We take a 60 gig HD, WiFi, "a" HD drive device, HDMI-port, online access, a second controller (360-controllers aren't free you know) and do the math again. |

Please. This site is so M$ owned. More value are you sh*tting me? That's a ****ing laugh times infinity.
Sony gives you A LOT more for a lot less + more features + more exclusive games (THEY OWN 20 STUDIOS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD) + the PS3's 2008 lineup = win.

| You all seem to be missing the point. All other 'combinations/setups' are irrelevant.
The simple truth is, with the recent 360 pricecut, *you can* buy a Xbox360+15 games+extras for the same price as a PS3.
If your the sort of person who only wants to play games then this 'package' is a bargain. Thats it. That's all this article is trying to convey and nothing else.
If, on the other hand you want to do more than just game (i.e watch hd/bluray content, play online, or require a system with wireless connectivity) then yes... other combinations/setups/systems maybe better value for money. Jeez. |

| Good article. And when you take into account that the 360 was a better value than the PS3 before the price cut (for those who actually want an excellent gaming system and not a cheap blu-ray player), that makes this deal even sweeter. |

| This article forgot to factor in the time it takes to send your XBox back due to a variety of problems. That's why they drop the price, so you can buy 2 Xbox, hoping that they both do not crash at the same time. |

| Nice to see MS taking responsibilty for the the faulty consoles. Dropping the price for hardware that has faults is wise. But I think the main reason is the fact MS has lost the HD war then it makes sense to drop the price aswell. |
