Read Article » Go to VG_Staff's original post It's not really surprising that there's been a surge of new gamers for LBP, particularly as it was one of the five games given away for free as part of the PSN Downtime/hacked apology pack. It would be interesting to know the figures for the other games: inFAMOUS, Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD + Fury etc, as 1.5 million doesn't sound like a great deal when you know LBP was freely offered to every PlayStation Network user - of which there are supposedly 77 million.
