Wow, what interesting choices.
FFX instead of FFIV,
and Hogs of War? Never even heard of it.
This is quite the interesting list.

Hogs of War is an absolute classic. It's like a 3d, class-based version of Worms.

You're only a young'un Wink Hogs of War was basically a 3D version of Worms on the ps1. I still prefer worms 2 as my game of choice for that genre though.

You certainly forget whats happened in the past 10 years and how long ago certain games were released. I forget which burnout it was, the first one on the 360, but I used to play it JUST to take out as many of the other drivers as possible. I'm not the best racing game player, but i'm an evil genius when it comes to combat racing. F-Zero on the N64 you'd frequently see me hurtling accross the nose of your craft attempting to destroy you despite having already passed you Grin

Wes you must of slipped up on the Street Fighter front. APPOINT her to VG, awesome feature. From a woman's perspective into videogames is a fascinating one. Usually (girls) don't have time for it but unless they do pick up the controller and play, its usually more laid back games. Surprising list you picked there. Some of them will definitely put em off instantly.

Bit surprised that Bejewelled, Trials HD, The Sims 3 and Fable II didn't make the cut, different strokes for different folks I guess.

I think maybe that's why Final Fantasy X was so popular too, it appealed to so many different types of people on so many different levels (finishing off that sphere grid was my raison d'etre for quite a few gaming months).

Could be worse, she could have listed Dead or Alive.

It was decent. 7 and 8 were still better and 9 was probably not quite as good as 10 imo. FFX had less likeable characters for me but it was still enjoyable, i never felt like being that thorough with it compared to the others, once i'd done the main story i just moved on.

EDIT: In my experience no spouse likes their other half playing street fighter lol
