Next Assassin's Creed to be set in the swashbuckling seas of the Caribbean, set before AC3?

Sounds like that ubisoft is taking what was critically the best recieved part of the game, the sailing and ship battles and are running with it. Sounds interesting, although I'm not really that interested. I think we're at a point where this franchise should start winding down during the beginning of the next gen.

Meh, I was hoping for it to be set in the 80's hardcore scene and have Henry Rollins as the protagonist.

I honestly couldn't care less about another Assassin's Creed game, there is very little they can do with it now in terms of gameplay and story without it being the same thing we have already seen or done.

I would rather them use more DLC on Assassin's Creed 3 than bring out another one. Do a Brotherhood sort of game as DLC where Connor is trying to rebuild the Assassin order or something as well as the Washington DLC.

Might get it when it's cheap as chips but if it's just the sailing parts I'm not gonna bother. It was very buggy and I have done sailing before when I was a kid and it was just terrible and at times way too over the top when it was working.
