I'd really like to see the arms manufacturers take centre stage in the next game - as seen somewhat in the Torgue DLC. Give specific branching storylines that make the player side/specialise with one company in particular (at a penalty for others, to a varying degree), provide skills related to guns from them, specialised payment tokens/vending machines... as they fight for sales prominence on Pandora...

I really think that could work well.

Very New Vegas-esq! (But an excellent idea none the less).

If they can make a game as good as Borderlands 2 then I'll be happy. I played it solo or with strangers and it was still incredibly fun!

i'd be happy with modular weapon design rather than fully randomly generated. Pretty much your entire ability to destroy boiled down to your gun with your powers as backup.
