Read Article » Go to VG_Staff's original post I agree you can kinda predict what a game is going to be with just a title these days, the last game I played with new ideas albeit a minor difference was Dead Island with its focus on first person melee combat and free roam zombie RPG I think that's why it did so well cos it was different from both the hectic zombie genre and the FPS genre. just need more innovation doesn't have to be big just something slightly different, I reckon that's why BlOps2 has gone futuristic still going to be the same established CoD gameplay just in a different setting.
