| Quote:Civ Rev is certainly a game that console-owning strategy fans should at the very least try out.

| The game looks awesome, but I do wish it was made also for the PC. IMO consoles are more for FPS and arcade shoot-them-up stile games. I suppose I might rent the game and try it out. |

Um why would you even consider wanting to buy a game that has been striped of features etc to play on console when theres the likes of civ 4 and the expansions. Aslo theres mods etc for civ 4. So why would you even want this game on pc . So you really want a grachically inferior lookingciv revoluton to civ iv for pc . The game does look good but obviously it will never be as good as the previous pc titles. |

| Flyboy, this game's graphics are easily better than Civ4, as any Civ fan will tell you. It's not quite as epic and lighter on options, but the stream-lined controls keep everything that makes Civ what it is, while simply cutting out some of the more tedious micromanagment. The faster pace is great fun and far better for multiplayer. I've been playing Cv games since Civ2, and there are plenty of reasons why this game should be picked up by any fan of the series. |

| I do not agree with the graphics statement. Even the article states that its a cartoonish approach. But yeah i wouldnt argue about buying this game just i was making a point that why would you want this game on pc if theres already civ iv which is still going strong.
I am massive civ fan and well i will be buying this particualr game for the 360. |

| Nothing wrong with the cartoonish like graphics, it is actually entertaining. Sure, in battle mode they could use a Final Fantasy approach, switching to a full graphical environment using the potential of the consoles, and they have probably been too cheap on that. Still, I am playing the demo and I can't stop it. Which is the whole point f a videogame: it is alot of fun. I never played one strategy game before (apart from the web based ones), but the approach of Civ Rev feels just perfect. Oh, one last thing, TheTitan: Playstations are not for FPS. PCs (and XBOXes, maybe) are. |

| Graphics are fun and vibrant. My only complaint about this game is that the actual unit conflicts are very lackluster. The camera does a little zoom to focus on the battle but it simply reveals dull graphics and boring battles that belong on a PS1 side scroller. The only TBS game with less impressive battle sequences is Culdcept Saga. |

| Umm... watch all of the buildings, units and what-not do their thing after the match. I've beaten it in a ton of different scenarios and the graphics are amazing, just small. When you can actually look at the units up close in the civilopedia or watch the buildings being constructed at the endof a match, everything has incredible detail. Try playing the full game before saying it's inferior |

| A a long-time console player, I was at first annoyed at the simpler approach, but after playing a few games you realize it is still Civ, just faster and somewhat streamlined. I now am having a lot of fun with it. Worth a try, nice not to have to stay up all night to finish a game. |
