| I'm glad to see Borderlands at number 1. It deserves it. I'm also glad that Spec Ops has got as much recognition as it has on this list. It's a shame about Max Payne 3 and Diablo but a good list nevertheless.
Hopefully this will just become a VG tradition, even if Martin's gone.
(I'm also happy to be quoted in every community GOTY so far!) |

| Well deserved, for a fantastic title. But I must ask: why no love for Bounty bars? |

| Well done borderlands 2. It's also nice to see that my top 2 games of this year (dustforce and Torchlight 2) made it onto the top 25 list, especially Dustforce considering it came out so early in the year! |

| Only just played Borderlands 2 (picked it for XMAS) and agree, it is well deserved! |

| The lack of FTL saddens me more. I gave that game second place on my list! |

| Max Payne 3 at #40!?! Crazytalk. And Mark of the ninja below Dustforce? Pah. Very surprised by the Amazing Spidermans place. |

| Super glad to see that Spec Ops made it into the top 10! For me that was one of the most surprising games of 2012, albeit not being perfect. |

| Would've loved to have seen the top 56. One of the most interesting things about the Community GOTY nominations is that they're all titles that appeal to me as a core gamer. The final order doesn't seem to matter that much, these are essentially games recommended by my contemporaries who I've grown to know and trust over the years.
The word of mouth is still probably the most useful tool in my purchasing decisions, and the Community GOTY nominations are an epitome of that. |
