If you can find one of the early pictures you can see how the character has improved.

The demo I saw of this game was hot, looked like a fun hack-n-sladh with tasty rpg qualities (hence action rpg). I will pick this one up at launch or at christmas. I will only buy 4 games at launch so Christmas is more likely. FF12, Resistance, CD3, Fight Night, UT2007 will be first.

I like these kinda' games and this does look pretty. Hopefully it'll play well too. Might get it on release or rent it at least.
