This makes me very sad Sad. I loved this series. Too bad we will probably never see it's conclusion.

It wasn't a ground breaking franchise to be honest. Mediocre at best, even if I did like Darksiders I, only because it picked itself up after a very boring and dull start. Darksiders II was completely boring and lost interest once I did the first part of the game.

Too bad about Darksiders not being one of those 'good' things.

Wow didn't realize neither of you liked it all that much. Interesting. I quite liked it and will be missing it very much.

I was never a fan of Darksiders but this is a horrible outcome from a well loved developer...

I'm very excited to see what babies Relic and Creative Assembly produce under the Sega banner. Huge fan of the Total War series and Company of Heroes franchise.

At least most of the dev houses and properties were snapped up by well renowned publishers. Although Crytek must have been on acid to buy the Homefront license. If anyone can turn it into a decent game though it may very well be Crytek.

They bought the license for ridiculously cheap. Personally, I'd think it'd be stupid not to snatch it for the price they got it. Besides they were already in talks with the people making Homefront 2 anyways so it made sense.

Personally the first Darksiders game has been one of my favourite games this generation. I absolutely loved it.
