Funny how they never mention all this till way after release and sales have dropped off. I guess they were still happy enough to take our money for their poor work... not that I thought it was poor, I enjoyed the game although was utterly sick of it by the time that platinum trophy unlocked.

They weren't alone in being unhappy with it. From the night I wasted updating the damn thing to allow it to use the Move controller I don't have, through having to play a crime scene twice because it glitched and just wouldn't let me out, to ultimately giving up on the game because it was simply so unbelievable on a character level. Seriously, I would slap anyone I knew who is as useless as Ethan is.

Graphically that game was amazing the details in some of the scenes like in the small shop that had all the items on the shelf, you could read all the packaging and if you zoomed in I imagine you could even see the GDAs and 'contains a trace of nuts' label lol, it looked that good even my girlfriend was impressed n she hates games n has no interest in how it looks. But all that crap wit the timed button presses was terrible especially wen it was shaking about cos the charater was nervous or summat I just ended up pressing anything. They should stay away from the multiple endings next time too cos I had no intension of playing it fully again, that mechanic only works well for ppl that have too much free time, pointless to the rest of us.

Surely saying that they weren't happy with the game n still shipping it anyway isn't going to do them any favours for the next one. If they don't like it why should anyone else wen every one prefers stuff u make yourself like your own cheeseburger or pizza is always better your own game should love more too.

"every one prefers stuff u make yourself". Really? Not me.

I am always overly critical of my own work, from cooking a roast dinner to doing DIY. I know that the meals I cook are better than others; the meat, the veg, the pots and the gravy. However if anyone of those things is wrong it ruins the meal for me, sometimes to the point where I cannot eat it (while everyone else has an empty plate). I will, though, quite happily polish off a plate of over-cooked root vegetables, dry chicken and under-cooked roasties if someone has gone to the bother of making it for me. I KNOW my cooking is better but for whatever reason I criticise my own work more. Same with DIY: I know all those little things I didn't quite finish properly and they will annoy me, but I will not look through someone else's house with the same level of scrutiny.

Heavy Rain pee'd me off simply because I couldn't play the damned thing on my PS3. I'd get as far as the mall, call "Jason" and then the bloody thing would crash. I believe the problem lies within the particular model of my console. Some of you might think it saved me many waster hours. Sadly I never got the chance to find out for myself.
