| i bought this game and id say it deserves an 8, its got a really
great cinematic feel to it and i really love the b-movie atmosphere
the sounds are great easily an 8 also and the graphics are some
of the better seen on wii, (much better than alone in the dark wii for example) |

| Ok so this review can be safely ignored as the reviewer in the first sentence gets it wrong. This is NOT a first party nintendo game, it is made by a different group (according to IGN it is made by a subsidiary of namco, monolithsoftware jp ). |

| I'm genuinely saddened to read such a scathingly blasé review directed at a game I'm enjoying so much.
Disaster: Day of Crisis is an eclectic mix of shooting and mini games, and whilst no one part of it excels, it sports such a rich mix of variety, that it doesn't leave you playing any one part of it long enough to realise how simple each segment is.
Can't say I've experienced any of the frame rate drops or input latency mentioned in the review (although I've far from finished it), and thus far the graphics are more than acceptable, but no need to take my word for it, just check the videos and galleries dotted around the net.
As far as I'm concerned, D:DoC doesn't deserve to be bought because it plugs an obvious gap in the Wii line up, it deserves to be bought because it's a great little game, which makes excellent use of the Wii controls, and given the amount they've managed to cram into the game, a 5 seems extremely mean spirited. |

| i agree with the other guys, being a critical kind of guy and having mixed opinions on how DDOC would turn out this was a lovely surprise that ive enjoyed greatly. theres a lot to unlock, theres enough variety, the car feels very responsive etc etc. There are some strange poor visuals in a few places, mainly the npcs, but most environments and effects look great. particularly compared to other wii games. this was worth a purchase to play something that wouldn't have been what it is without the wii controls, and stilll be a good game. crap review, shame on you |

| Seeing how Monolith developed this and not Nintendo per say, wouldn't Disaster: Day of Crisis be a 2nd party game? Anyway, the game is worth a purchase. It's a solid 8! |

| I think the reviewer is just bad at playing Day of Crisis. Got the european version and I don't have any problems with the "input lag". 5 is to less, it deserves at last a 7. |
