Pretty much the approach they're taking with Mass Effect 3, then?

Going from Dragon Age 2, pretty wise thing to do. I liked DA2, but it felt smaller than compared to Origins.

I think they need to not only take player feedback into consideration, but also what was said in reviews.

Mainly, having a little less linearity. And if have more excellent moments like where Anders does, that thing.

DA 2 was mediocre, which was a disappointment, when you compare it to it's predecessor which is one of my favourite medieval RPGs.

I lost the last vestiges of respect for PC Gamer when they gave DA2 94%.

DA3 is going to have to be something really special to get me back on board, and I'll definitely be waiting for a variety of reviews before I go near it.

It will require something *incredibly* innovative to get me to return to that series. The combat, plot, linearity, sourcing ingredients... everything in DA2 was terribly implemented.

Awakening was well-done - linear, but with a much more interesting setting/story.

Yeah, I seem to remember the line "best RPG of the decade" being used at some point. Boggle.

Didn't say which decade, 1950's perhaps? Not 60's because Spacewar effectively had an inventory.
