Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard Review
Quote:
In the end Eat Lead simply isn't a good enough game to make the most of the brilliant script and isn't the game to get Matt Hazard's career back on track.

I've got this on order for 22 notes, and I'm loathed to cancel it as I really love the concept. It's been getting a critical mauling from most publications though, which is a shame Sad

Just to be clear Tom, is this game frustrating? Does it have poor check points, unfair enemy A.I. etc.?

It is very frustrating at points, mainly due to the way your aiming seems to be all over the place. At times a fair few enemies spawn and they often charge straight at you, and the up-close combat is very poor. The checkpoints aren't actually that bad until later on, but that doesn't save it from being extremely annoying at points. It's a shame as the idea is solid.
