'...Euro Truck Simulator 2, The Sims 3 Town Life, and Rail Simulator...'

I think HMV should pay the gentleman and shake his hand for taking this fine selection of...(please supply appropriate words). If the remains of HMV really wants some saving by the public or some last minute financial saviour, they should really stop pissing on the last few customers it's got. I personally would find it sad to see them go but they're not helping the situation.

It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, happens to him. What he's done is illegal. It's just a shame the law isn't always morally right (imo).

If I was HMV staff I would have let him go and not mentioned it. What would they do about it? Threaten me with a job loss?

That would be tantamount to aiding and abetting... and an action likely to be taken seriously by the upper brass...

1: HMV would likely be gone before it escalated to that point.

2: They wouldn't have the money to waste taking me to court.

3: If they did take me to court I would walk away with a caution, a fine of €40 and a huge media frenzy around me, which would likely earn me a fair amount of money though cheap news stories.
