This is very bad news. 38 Studios did a cracking job with Kingdoms, even though I need to play the game a lot more!

Can't say I'm surprised. Professional baseballer buys his way into a business that he knows nothing about, and instantly pushes to make an MMO.

Who could have foretold that financial disaster would ensue?

Also, apparently Salvatorwe was paid around $1.5 million for coming up with that bland oatmeal-esque setting...! The only writer worth a significant sum, IMHO, is Rhianna Pratchett, and even then that would be ridiculous.
