LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Review

There's plenty of things to like in LEGO Star Wars III, though some of them might be buried a little too deep for younger players.

I'm playing through this at the moment and have to agree that at times I have found myself trying to figure out what to do rather than figuring out how to do something. On a few occasions I have wasted a good hour just being plain old 'stuck'!
I also came a cross a glitch where Obi Wan was inside a ship and Anakin was fighting a space battle outside the ship. When I switch from Obi Wan to Anakin his spaceship was gone and he just kept falling to his death - meaning I had to restart the whole level again.
I do miss the music from the movies too as the music from the series isn't a patch on the John Williams themes that I grew up with!
Wow! It sounds like I've just give it a total slagging - but it is actually a very good game just a couple of things that have let it down slightly!

Great review Martin.

Still working out what format to get this on, Wii with the wiggly lightsabers, PS3, 360 or 3DS

I'm quite surprised after clicking on a couple of the screenshots. That's much more polished than the last Lego: Star Wars game I played. Still, with no interest in Star Wars there'll be little point in me snapping this up.

You should try LEGO Harry Potter (unless you dont like HP either lol) it's easily the best (until I can play this one) LEGO game so far, and it looks amazing, and I really like the 'open-world' structure of the game. Slightly disappointed that this one has somewhat devolved that advancement.

Completely agree. Lego Harry Potter is the highlight of the series for me. Very much looking forward to the next inevitable instalment!

Also, I totally had the same bug Guyderman had. VERY ANNOYING.

I've had this game since last wednesday. Really enjoying it but I've had one really annoying glitch happen a lot.

In the Invisible Hand there is an elevator that never ends for me. It forces me to return to the dashboard and try again many times before I can get up where I need to go...

You've not experienced a proper Lego game glitch till you hit 99.9% complete and are unable to get that last 0.1% like happened to me on Lego Harry Potter Cursing
