| According to some other reviews I've seen, the game is too forgiving, allowing you to just brush the microphone to win at times. Not sure I'm too keen on that. |

| I enjoyed reading your review.
Can you confirm if the vocal track can be muted? for both in-game songs and songs from mp3 player?
Videos on youtube and xbox.com only show players singing over the origina vocal track. Even Duffy at E08 was singing over her own voice. |

| I think the draw of these games is just improving on your last score and having fun. Not really the same goal of Rock Band or the like where you can fail and have to start over.
You can adjust the vocal reduction on either the in game or imported tracks to your liking. |

| I read the eurogamer review about brush the microphone for points, no matter what I did I couldn't get many points in the song for doing this so I find the review more than a little flawed. The other thing I tried to do was get "big bang" in all 40 songs - I could only get "big bang" in 2 of them. Alright, I'm not a great singer though I like to sing but if the game is "too easy" how come it's hard to get a good score? I heard that there is something beyond "big bang" level too. could it be that the reviewer is harshing lips for not having 3 difficulty settings? it seems the scoring in lips is way more challenging than singstar in general. plus love the vibrato bonuses and the star mode with the gestures - that's pretty good imo. |

| Interesting how they chose not to integrate the 360 video camera... sounds like a missed marketing opportunity to me.
Hasn't put me off the game though, in fact the game has probably tied me into Microsoft as a i was considering a ps3 simply for Singstar. |

| May be a stupid question, but is the optional Apple AAC add-on installed on your homne console? If not it won't play apple m4a files. |

That's good to know, the Eurogamer review made it sound pretty bad. Early code perhaps?
I still think I'm going to stick with Singstar though. The Movies game sounds more original on the 360, though it looks pretty cheesy too. |
