LMA Manager 2007 Review

To enjoy the game, however, one has to play it with blinkers on and block out the insanely stupid things it throws at you on a rather too regular basis.

i think you are being a bit harsh with your ratings, you play a game because that type of game appeals to you not because of the music and also so what if you can buy players from rivals, the idea is to make the best team and trry and win trophies so if you need to buy john terry then so be it

If I was honest I agrre completely with mark forder I mean so what if the transfers are @ludicrous@ this happens in football like rio ferdinand going to man u from leeds just a couple of years back or rooney to man u. I thin that it looks a great game that will keep me entertained for a long time.

Andrew Vandervell critism is rather one sided as he's adamently out to critise LMA. A word of advice to you Andrew, when i read a reveiw i rather it be balanced unlike youre one sided approach. i can understand there are some structual constraints but surely not to this extent. Anyway i think the games fanatastics considering the technology available. Obviously you must be ahaed of us ALL. How about you give some tips to LMA developers instead of just blind criticism.

I tend to agree with this review. I do feel that clubs should put up more of fight to keep their star players, and they certainly should try to not let them go to rival clubs. However, i do enjoy exploiting this willingness to sell. I also feel the match engine, while doing a good job, has far too many inconsistancies in it. Luckily i'm one of those players who is willing to put up with it, and enjoy the game.
Having said all that, Football Manager is still a far better choice of managament game in my most humbe opinion.
