Good to see that Japanese publishers are staying relevant by not doing something ridiculous like imposing arbitrary restrictions on their games to stop people buying them.

The save functionality does not stop anybody from buying. The lack of any kind of leaderboard definitely stops me from doing so.

It stops people buying second hand at HMV, apparently. The absence of a leader-board is just plain dumb.

next devs will put poor sales down to the device and not down to the stupid move to not allow you to delete the gamesave... really stupid, not allowing people to delete the save... if your game is really good you would realize people wouldnt trade the game in the first place...

Would that not therefore suggest that the permanent save feature is irrelevant in determining sales of a game?

Continuation of this will bring a fairly abrupt end to the lifespan of the 3DS.
