| The new GH reboot announcement cannot come soon enough... I miss having new songs, and the Rock Band content is just so awful, I am not even tempted to purchase the third entry in the series. |

| The RB content's actually been pretty solid this year - there's been quite a range released - certainly covered a lot of genres. Obviously it comes down to personal taste, but I've actually DL'd quite a bit of late - been some nice suprises in there! (been plenty of Sh!t too but like I say comes down to personal taste as does all things music really) - and as always you can't complain about the amount of content that's been released they've been releasing a good 5 or 6 tracks every week without fail - mind you with that much content it will always look like there is a lot of stuff that you aren't interested in compared to what you are interested in. You can't please everyone but at least the Harmonix boys are trying to - wether you see this as a good or bad thing.
Back on topic - I'll be interested in seeing what Neversoft get upto next! |

| Aye - and that's the problem - loads of DLC was released back in the day that suited my tastes, but there has been - quite literally - nothing at all, since the launch of RB3 that has made me think 'I would like that'. That said, some good stuff has been put up on the RockBandNetwork, but that still functions with RB2, so no need to purchase RB3 at all.
Before the sadly stopped putting out tracks for the GH series, that was really more music, not necessarily to my taste, but fun to play.
The next song on my wishlist, and first series to put it out will win a purchase, is 'Strange Kind of Woman' (Deep Purple). |

| Obviously I have no idea what your tastes are, but I've had some great fun since RB3's release with the likes of Queen, Def Leppard, Poison, Ozzy, Foreigner, Linkin Park, Lynrd Skynrd, Bon Jovi, Hendrix to name just a few, add this to all my previous stuff the likes of Maiden, Alice Cooper, MCR, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains, Boston etc and I guess this is why I'm still playing Rock Band so many years after it's initial launch. But again this is down to my personal tastes as I imagine what I like wouldn't interest other people and vice versa.
Purple's 'Child in Time' was released a short while back so I'm hoping it may be a precursor to a Deep Purple track pack at some point in the near future - would be nice! |

| I commented on the greatness that a Deep Purple Pack would entail at the time over Twitter, and was told to 'Submit a Request'.
I have requested that song via that form several times since pre-RB1 days!
It's not necessarily the bands, but the songs chosen that matter... |

| Don't get me wrong there are still A LOT of bands that are missing from the content and I think a lot of time it is down to who will and won't give permission to have their songs used - I even think that when some artists allow their songs to be used they are protective over certain tracks which is why sometimes the songs used make you wonder 'why song x and not song y'. I have a laundry list of songs and bands that I would like to see released - sadly as I'm an old fart that's main love was 'Hair Metal' I'll never see a majority of them released! At least some of the more 'Classic' bands like Deep Purple have some hope of making it on there at some point.... I hope! |
