Definitely would think Gerard butler would be in the running looks most like Sam fisher as far as I can think anyway.

I've heard the Splinter Cell rumours many times over the last ten years, (along wit many other video game movies), so I'll keep my excitement levels to a minimum for the time being!

Whoever plays Sam will need to lip synch to dialogue read by Michael Ironside - I just can't hear anyone else's voice suiting the part!
