I think a lot of people who would of wanted Peach playable in the game would of also liked the return of unique move sets for each character from Super Mario Bros USA (2). NSMBU longevity comes from it's local multiplayer and challenge mode. However with different move sets per character, that really removes from the idea of having a level playing field in multiplayer, or balanced challenges. And just making her a generic character swap kind of takes away from the novelty of as playing as her.

I think they could of weaved her in as a new game plus character (kind of like Luigi from Mario galaxy), but in that form her move set (floating with the parasol, and ducking to become invincible, slower running speed etc...), would be most appreciated in a new 3D game as opposed to the NSMB franchise.

Should be a similar game with just Peach, Daisy and Rosetta :P

All they really needed to do is create items that give each characters the unique powers of others. For example Mario and Luigi only need a feather to mimc Peach, but peach gets the ability for free. ya know..a bit of diversity add a touch of meaning to your choice Smile
