Statistically speaking at least one of you should be addicted to WoW and should be posting a weekly update regarding what your Tauren got up to during the last 7 days.

This week I have been mostly playing FFXI on the 360. (Who am I trying to kid? That's ALL I've been playing...). I'm still staggered that after 4 years of FFXI I'm still discovering new things to do each day and find new things to look forward too when I develop my character enough. Biggest time-sink ever. I'm just glad I enjoy time-sinks.

At least you guys have a bit of diversity.

I used to be addicted to WoW, but have managed (it was one hell of a struggle believe me) to quit. I was so addicted, I took half a year off work just to play it, living off savings and milkshakes. Best damn half year of my life... sniff. Still have the sub active though, and the game installed on my comp, so could go back anytime...

I also was addicted to Wow in its early days for a good 9 months on and off. I had to stop for the sake of finishing my degree. Same story with Simon, so ye pro-g on the whole were statistically quite heavily hit by the game :P

I'm kind of addicted to WoW. I've still got an active sub, but that 2000 gold I still have to grind to get my swift flying mount... I just can't face it at the moment. I'll undoubtedly start playing again once the new expansion comes out.

I agree Iain, I suspect there are a lot of WoW gamers out there who don't play it but still have their sub active, and will get hooked all over again with every new expansion. That's what happened with me and The Burning Crusade, and I fully expect that will happen again with WotLK.

Indeed so - and hopefully the guild I'm in will still be there when I log back in again. Last time I took a sabbatical from WoW, the guild I was in disbanded, so when I started back up again, I was greeted on the character screen with my main wearing a blank, grey guild tabard...
