ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 Hands-on
Another golf game with a brand new, advanced control scheme. Is it more than PR talk?

Just curious if anyone has any thoughts to share on the XBox version? I haven't heard much about the putting in this game. I hope it's as in depth and reliant on feel as the full swing interface seems to be. We won't be getting this in the states until August 29th, hence the plea to my UK brethren for info! :-)

I thought I was responding only to the XBox version previously. I'd like to hear from PS2 owners who have played the game as well. I understand that that PC version was delayed two weeks. Any reason given over there as to why? I'm hoping it's because they are adding IP to IP multiplayer online support.

Jack, anything to report yet? I have a set of questions I'd like to pose to anyone who'd like to address one or more of them:

1.) Do you like the feel of the interface?

2.) Is there any sense of inertia/momentum in the interface and animation?

3.) Is the putting game as realistic and consistant as the full swing interface?

4.) Does green slope depiction use a static or dynamic dot grid?

5.) Is the putting stroke fully proportional, or are you forced to use mutliple putter ranges, ala TW 2003-2006?

6.) How is the play of the AI players? Do you think they will contribute to the enjoyment of the career mode in any way?
