| Why didn't they put up a really compelling veritcal slice demo BEFORE the game came out? Surely a good demo would have helped them sell this new IP in a bit better than releasing one weeks after the fact? |

| They were probably hoping that they didn't have to offer one, that the game would sell anyway. |

| Dray, grab it. I loved every minute (bar the last 3, somewhat disappointing) and had much, much more than my £17.99s worth.
In fact, everyone grab it! It's fun, the shooting is great and the NPCs are lovely. Yeah, they're rooted to the spot, but I loved 'em all (especially Friday ) |

| RAGE was a disappointment. So much they could of done with the big set pieces. I enjoyed it at first, but when you finish the game, it was terrible. I would wait till it's at least £15 or less. |

| I grabbed it earlier today, but literally just finished trying it out. Pretty much what I expected, and very scripted with pretty bad acting. The crafting mechanic could have been better implemented, and the betting game was pretty much just SJ Game's Zombie Dice.
Can't say anything leapt out at me compelling a purchase, soooo.... *delete* |

| Actually I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Well, the FPS aspect anyways.
Hated the driving gameplay. In my eyes, that alone kept it from being a wholely enjoyable experience. It felt disjointed, like an afterthought. Getting places seemed like a bit of a chore after an hour or two in.
Not a bad option for a quick bash around. I guess a demo at or before release may have boosted initial sales, but with soooo many other huge games just since Rage's release, people won't really be missing out waiting for the price to take a significant plunge.
A demo is always a good idea imo. Just a shame the game is all but forgotten before the demo is released. A late demo may generate more sales but choosing Rage over anything else released in the last two months would be a hard ask...
I lent my copy to a friend who had no idea it even existed and he loves it so I guess there is still hope. On second thoughts, he is a bit retarded so maybe not. |

| I played the demo last night and quite liked it. Not an insta-purchase but I reckon I'll pick this up at some point. |

| I played the demo this morning and got stuck in scenery (cleared bandits in well, met a friendly NPC, followed him, went through next gate and got stuck in some stalagmites near the entrance) with no apparent way out so had to quit.
Up until then the game was 'ok', but that glitch left me with a nasty aftertaste. If they can't get a demo right, what hope for a full game? Will buy when it hits £9.99 or so. |
