| A company by the name of electric spin makes a simulator for PS2 called the Golf LauchPad. It retails for about 200us and works with such titles as Tiger Woods PGA tour 2004 and up. I am in the shopping stage now, and even if it is more pricey it seems to be the best option. I hope this helps out anyone looking to practice from home like I plan on doing. |

| I played this game for the first time yesterday and had a great time with it. I golf every weekend and usually shoot in the 105 range, in less than 5 minutes i was hitting birdies and pars! the graphics are weak but fun factor is Great! |

awesome game
| I had seen this in stores before many times, and was interested in it but it seemed priced high. A recent visit to the store had a open box returned item - perhaps someone didn't like it at all.
I have to agree, the graphics aren't the best, but it is the best simulated golf game that is as close to virtual golf than any other golf game I have tried. Other golf games do focus on graphics, and physics will be more advanced than this I'm sure, but the gameplay is unbeatable.
Look at the Wii compared to Ps3 and Xbox360. The graphics don't even come close to those systems, yet everyone who has played it agrees the control method is awesome and much better than using a controller to play a guage game. Bowling, Pool games and other simple games that use guages and meters tend to rely on a skill of playing the meter, as opposed to swinging a club.
As a golf game is supposed to be a golf game, I would take this game for realism over any other game that is graphically better. Its just seriously to much fun. so glad I got this, you will too.
Disapointed with lack of games available for this motion sensing unit.. totally undermarketed and undersold.. its a shame. Get one!!!! |

| I think this game is great.
and bearing in mind this is the first of its kind,
as this is a totally new area of gaming. (just look at the first ever console and what are we on now ps3)
This system will evolve and the games will get better. there is improvements that could be made but think of the possibilities. i mean if they have created a game of golf, maybe real footbal will be next with a mat and realistic football boots that track your feet (maybe even that work with the gametrak system). so who knows this game is fun, it may not be 100% realistic but ist 100% entertaining. |
