| Nintendo is considering a second The Legend of Zelda remake for Nintendo 3DS, and is currently trying to figure out which classic outing to choose.

| I'd prefer if it they made a spiritual successor to a link to the past, using its pixel art style whilst using some of the previous elements from the DS zelda games. I'd love to play a modern 2D Zelda game |

| I have a rule when it comes to desserts, that in order to stop my problems deciding which to go for, I just have one of each.
This is my advice to Nintendo. Do both. I'll buy both. As will others. |

| Majora's Mask. It just makes a lot of sense to pair it up with Ocarina of Time on 3DS given how great a job Grezzo did with the development.
I got the impression that Miyamoto wanted to expand on LttP in some way rather than just do a remake. It sounded more like he was looking to make a spiritual successor that played with the same mechanics, perhaps. |

| They did, late last year. Maybe you heard of Skyward Sword, one of the best received titles of 2011? We don't need another new Zelda game just yet, and we probably won't be seeing one until 2015. In the meantime, a lot of people would jump at the chance to revisit two of the series highpoints, the only two games other than Ocarina that you ever see people calling their favourites, in HD/3D. |

| I never said we need a new Zelda game. I don't want a new Zelda anything. I'm tired of the "Same sh!t, new box" mentality they have. Re-releasing in HD/3D is not the way to push this industry forward. How about they grow a pair for a change and invest in a new IP.
Oh wait... this in Nintendo... my bad... |

| You'd have a point if we hadn't just sat through an E3 where 99% of everything came with a number 4 at the end of it. And what happens when we do get new IP? We live in a world that is going to see Naughty Bear 2 before Bayonetta 2, and where nobody bothered to buy Enslaved. Myself included.
If we are going to revisit the past, then let's at least revisit the best parts. Link to the Past is coming up for 20 years old now? Why not give it a fresh coat of paint? It is still one of the best games I have ever played, and I would much rather see that remade than even Final Fantasy VII. (Which SHOULD be remade and rereleased, by the way.) |

| I was just thinking of playing through Link to the Past again... although personally I would to see a spiritual sequel to Link's Awakening - my word, was that an excellent game. |
