I think they might appeal that one, they had so much trouble with the unfinished Unreal build that they were initially delivered that Silicon Knights rewrote sections of the engine to get the game working, the final engine was dubbed the Silicon Knights Engine and that's what Too Human shipped on.

But then I guess a judge's decision is final either way. Wonder if it'll affect multiplayer on Live? I still have my copy.

Too Human only failed because of what it promised, or rather what Dyack promised us. Whilst the game itself didn't particularly appeal to me, what I played of it wasn't "bad" in any way, just a bit ... underwhelming. That being said, I am sure I could have ground my way right through, and will certainly be on the look out for it now!

Well if you want an £11.95 copy from Amazon it's there. (My review is the 3rd one down!) (Plug!)

X-Men Desitny is such a terrible game!

Why can't there be a decent X-Men game like X-Men arcade again.

Too Human was what i'd describe this generation of games, great in theory, horrendous in action.

When i returned my copy of Too Human to Gamestation a few years ago, this is what was said.....

Girl- "Can i guess why you got rid of it?" so i said

    Me"Of course you can"

    Girl- "Finished it too soon?"

Me- "Ha, no, game bored me and my partner to death, we turned it off after 30 minutes and stuck *insert whatever we had in common at the time*"

I rather enjoyed the setting of Too Human, and thought there were some really nice subtle touches that linked to more obscure parts of Norse mythology that those not especially familiar with the source material would not likely see/appreciate.

Alas, the gameplay was just a little too simplistic for my taste, but the underlying ideas were rather well developed.

Absolutely agree, i love Norse mythology and this was a great setting, but, as you said the gameplay was just too simplistic.

Wow! I'm surprised that nobody mentioned the severity of having to destroy the source code for these games. That's an awful punishment. Recalling the game and destroying published copies is understandable. But, having to destroy years of hard work completely from existence is heartbreaking. This is portfolio work and technical achievement for some of the people who worked on it. It's years of trial and error that they could have kept to study. Surely, this was an executive decision to use (abuse, rip-off?) Unreal. The coders and designers were unlikely to have done anything wrong?! Yet, they're being punished by having their work destroyed.
