| I'm still on the fence with this, I cant see that it'll offer much more than MvC3. Sure the underlying systems might be more balanced and structured and the art style and flavour of the game is something fairly fresh, but all I know it adds so far is the ability to choose the size of your time and have their strength scaled appropriately. So you can have 1 supremely powerful character, or 3 lesser powered characters that have the advantage of providing a more varied and flexible arsonal and the option to bring them in for assists etc.
My main problem though is that I dont really like most of the characters, Filia is as close as I can get to 'liking' one of them, and even then only visually; Her backstory is hardly inspiring. And thats an important factor for me, I have to like the character. |
