Why "Sadly"? There really is no reason to be so exclusive when it comes to our hobby. So what if ActiVision want to release a game that you will never buy on a platform that you will never buy? Fears that such releases will somehow affect us by watering games down so that they all appeal to the mass market have so far proved to be absolutely unfounded. You got Borderlands 2, Resi 6, Dishonored, XCOM, FIFA 13, Fable: The Journey, and WRC 3 in the last couple of weeks. Let the kids have this one.

'Why sadly?' You ask?

Because this is Activision. Franchise milking, bubble fad inducing, EXTRA expensive iOS game, potential precedences set... None of which are a good thing.

Why is it sad that a game aimed at youngsters might sell well? Is it because it doesn't appeal to you clockpunk or because Activision are creating something that's not for the older generation of gamers?

I think a lot of youngsters will enjoy this game by the looks of it, so what's got to be said to make that sad? The only sad thing is that this somehow makes you sad for no real reason!
