I have Sleeping Dogs, but another great game in the collection anyway. More excited about F1 Race Stars, which I was already planning to get.

Sounds awesome and I'll have to pick it up.

After my sub runs out in June I'm tempted to resub!

This is quite sneaky. Get people to sign up for PSN with great offers, then whack them over the head with a PS4 knowing they probably won't switch to another nextgen console because their PSN sub is still active.

Microsoft are doing the exact same thing, currently offering deals on 2 year Live subscriptions and a bunch of deals on the Marketplace.

We could end up slaves to services instead of consoles next gen, if we're not there already.

I think you are being paranoid FM.

The sub offers for starters can be a month, 3 months or a year. Not only that but PSN+ is already on VITA so it's already not restricted to one console but one PSN account and is multiplatform on Sony consoles.

I also don't understand your logic with LIVE as again it's your account that has the Gold subscrption.
The only thing that don't carry are your points over to your Windows Phone account but Windows PC does.

At least that means digital library backwards compatability is much more likely, though... which is a good thing for both!

Yeah and it doesn't surprise me that Sleeping Dogs is a free game as it was only 15 quid with DLC during the xmas sales.
They did this business tactic last year with deus Ex: HR

Absolutely - Both very good games, as well! price things right, and the sales will follow...

        ?

They charged 15 quid for them and then gave them away the next month on the PS network :P

Sales will not follow constantly if they did that more often.
