As much as I bloody well hate, and I truly mean HATE, UPlay. I'll be playing watch dogs simply because R* haven't announced gta5 for pc. Also my laser in my ps3 is buggered and need to replace it, had considered gta5 as a digital download and then saw the price €69.99!! they can F.STAR.STAR.STAR OFF!!!

I like it when some developers know they out of their league when it comes to certain games, and instead of trying to aggressively market against "event game" GTAV, they have the humility to say "Yeah we know you are all playing this game, but when you're done.... You can play our game"

Volition Saints Row 4 and Ubisoft with watchdog have both done this now.

Well it's basically drag along advertising, where you use the fame and higher advertising budget of another brand and using it.
Must be an economic term for it, no clue.

Anyway, I like how they need to plead for people to play Watchdogs because of GTA's franchise eclipsing their new one. Ubi will need to advertise a lot more nearer to release in order for the majority to pick it up.

Still want watchdogs but can't help thinking its gonna look great with a whole lot of nothing going on in the world besides the main story, can't imagine hacking things is going to keep me hooked in the way GTA will for years. Need to read the review on this one to be fair, I feel it's gonna be very much driver with tech!

@Batmamerc, my thoughts exactly. Plus, as good as it looks, Watchdogs doesn't look like a 'fun' game that's light and frivolous, so I can't see myself doing much outside of the main missions. That's just from what I know and have seen so far though, I might be wrong.

Ubisoft sound desperate, but I'm not sure they should be - Watchdogs is already on a lot of radars and looks solid.
