I'm actually surprised at the quality of the 3DS version. It actually looks like a viable option. Although the Wii U version will obviously be the better one, if they get cross platform matchmaking then this could be awesome.

Nintendo's Direct show wasn't bad. On any other year it probably would been awesome. If it had been last years, it would of been amazing. It's just that Nintendo didn't go far enough this time. Sony and Microsoft both had better conferences, which whilst was to be expected, still was disappointing on Nintendo's part.

I somewhat hope that Nintendo are planning to do the same thing as they did last year. Nintendo's 2012 E3 conference was disappointing as well, but then 2 weeks later, then had a Nintendo Direct show, that more then made up for it.

This smash bros trailer is without a doubt the weirdest I've ever seen. Or atleast the ending is!

I was casually watching the developer direct, just wishing to see more gameplay and they suddenly throw this weird surprise. I like it. It's an odd choice, but so were Mr. Game & Watch and R.O.B. I can't wait for more new characters.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking as well. I was at first confused as to why they would choose that character of all things. Then I remembered Game & Watch and ROB the robot and I suddenly thought "Well, I guess this character is technically more of a Nintendo staple then those two" Wink
