Read Article » Go to VG_Staff's original post Well, being that as as far back as November 1987 Nintendo were announcing as many as 7.8 million downloads of Virtual Console titles, I would say that Team 17 need to re-educate themselves somewhat. Remember how little was available back then? Also, even if the source is vgchartz, it appears that MegaMan 9 didn't do too badly at all either. 140,000 sales in one week is nothing to be sniffed at. I go online with my Wii, although not as often as I do with my 360, and I have to say that I have never once had any problems finding a game on either platform. Plenty of Wii owners do go online, and Team 17 are shooting themselves in the foot if they ignore this potential revenue stream.
