I'd be interested to hear the thoughts on Gamestop offering the Arkham City Catwoman DLC to all customers who buy preowned anyway... very few details have emerged, but it does seem that the publishers (not the dev team necessarily) are collaborating with the company to have a slice of that preowned price directly from the retailer, as opposed to the consumer. However, this seems to be an exclusive company agreement and, since the consumer is not the one expected to pay in this circumstance, I wonder if Warner Bros. may be starting a new trend of expectation. If they can work a deal with a used games retailer, then why can't the other publishing houses? Presumably they'll take a hit in the DLC pass sales, but the good will generated could prove a more valuable asset to my mind.

As for the preorder exclusive Robin DLC, what ticks me off most about that decision is the fact that achievements are granted to that piece of DLC, meaning those are already on the system, but unattainable until a general release. I agree with Martin, as to the annoyance of the way Warner Bros. handled that part of its promotional side of the title.

Where is the capsule review/discussion of Off the Record? I'd also have enjoyed hearing Martin's thoughts on the concept/handling of this entry, compared to, say, that of the Street Fighter franchise, and whether this differed from Neon's review, given that the pair of you have both frequently spoken/written of your fondness for DR2.

You might be surprised to hear that boardgame 'piracy' does indeed happen - as well as trading card game piracy! Especially with the rise in demand for Print on Demand PDF versions of games (or, as Pearson mentions, simple scans of boards and cards). Did you guys ever see my topic about Frag? A game I think that would be to your tastes... Wink http://community.videogamer.com/foru...ame_boardgame/
