"Martin left to join the other traitors at GameSpot" - s*****

Inspiring read, Tom. Sincerely hope we still see your name popping up in the comments/forums every-so-often. Don't be a stranger, yo!

I presume you're stepping down as you now have enough money to bathe in, right?

EDIT:
Wow. That actually got censored. I must be a huge racist.

Woah. Things are certainly changing round here. Glad that you're staying in a different capacity, VG wouldn't be the same without the Orrys turning the cogs.

I'm looking forward to seeing what a new Editor can do with the site, though as I feel it has lost a bit of momentum and needs to climb back up to the lofty heights it once was. A different direction might be just what it needs.

I wish you the best of luck Tom, regardless of our previous "arguments" it was always great to read your work. Even though I don't use the site anymore it's sad to hear that your stepping down.

Does this mean you have ascended to the next room? Or will you be working outside the office?

Either way, it was a pleasure to work for you, Tom, and all the best in your next adventure quest!

Can't wait for you to join us at GameSpot!!

(is he joking...? IS HE!?)

Same office, same desk, different job. This is the best room, so if I moved to the other it would be more of a descent Wink

<sigh> as much as I hate change, I do understand when people want to move on, and I do understand things are constantly moving and change is inevitable. We've lost a lot of good people already, so I'm glad to see that you're still hanging around, but damn this place just won't be the same anymore.

Hopefully the site won't change too majorly. I'd hate to log in next week and find that VG's been turned into some weird German fetish porn site involving midget goats and Japanese pickles...
