TNA iMPACT! Review
Quote:
With more variety in the roster, an improved move set and more game modes future TNA games could take the wrestling belt, but for now it'll have to make do with being a very worthy challenger.

7/10 is a fair mark! got the ps3 version from Morrisons for £25 and that would be a just price as it is lacking in lots of areas that SVR08 caters for. The most annoying thing is the Create A wrestler section which is feels so dated it reminds me of WWF Warzone on the ps1! One of best things about the Smackdown series is the ability to make numerous variations of CAWS in both appearance and moves - with the ability to create many of the TNA wrestlers with high accuracy!
I like Impact but wouldn't suggest buying into the series until a follow up is released with more depth on the roster and create a wrestler side of things

Totally agree about it folks!

TNA is a great wrestling game no matter of a doubt, but it does feel limited i.e. create a player, moves and choices of matches. The Storyline is good better than WWE in my opinion as it has a solid storyline, not in chapters which WWE storylines are basically are all the while. Which gets boring very quickly!

I was hopeing for attributes to be there for your wrestler to be stronger and serve a punishment when needs be. The gameplay is great never played a wrestling game that involves so much risks to win the fight, and using the reverse button so often!

Agree with the review and the other comments, good game that plays well just needs more variety in terms of matches, roster and moves.
