Were there TV ads for this? As far as I can see the game was totally unsupported. I didn't even realise it was out!

Other causes might be that the previous game was well known for being a poor experience and the expensive peripheral put it out of the pocket money price range.

Ouch. No surprises here, but I'm surprised Activision tried this again after the colossal failure of the last one. Some things make sense on plastic peripherals, some things don't. Move on and try something else.

I don't understand how EA's 'stupid fees' (do you mean project $10?) factor into a game published by Activision?

Funny enough, i didn't see any advertisements either......

See kids, do not rely on word of mouth advertising......it fails.

Hi, I like Skate.

Too bad for the Hawkster really. I remember being extremely happy when I learnt of the release of THPS on the PS1. I got a demo disk at one point and played it to death counting the days until the game came out.
