I care more about content then FPS. I'm quite happy for 30fps in games, 60 looks very nice, but to me, like graphics, looking better won't always make it better.

60fps is what makes something look truly next gen imo. It's just that extra crispness, the clarity you just dont get with 30fps. Not only that but it really helps with fast paced gameplay to be able to more clearly track things as cameras pan. It's much more noticeable when there's lots going on in a scene.

60 fps doesn't change the game graphically in anyway. What crispness are you talking about? It just doubles the number of images sent to your TV per second. Obviously this can make the game flow better and can help with gameplay for some genres (especially FPS and racing), but pretending that 60 fps somehow makes the game look more crisp makes you sound ignorant. Sorry, but the amount of things going on in a scene doesn't make a dfference. If the game is a constant 30 fps, then it gives you 30 frames per second. If it's 60 fps it gives you 60 frames per second. Adding more animation won't change that. It's still the same speed. Stop talking. Seriously.

The FPS doesn't make games look better. At all. I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between resolution/texture resolution/post processing effects and FPS. FPS doesn't change anything in terms of graphics, it just makes the game look smoother and less choppy.

I'd honestly rather have better looking visuals than 30 more frames per seconds. FPS is very costly in terms of GPU power. Games can look ridiculously better with an extra 30 FPS. I haven't ever been upset at the gameplay from 30 FPS. It plays fine. I'll take considerably better visuals any day of the week.
