I'm surprised that not only did NFS and Forza drop so low, but that WWE 13 did so well. I wasn't aware that those games still had such a major following.

It's depressing to see AC liberation only making it to 14th. Excluding the top ten for a moment, I can understand it being beaten by RE 6 and professor Layton to some extent, but moshi monsters must be leaving sony and ubisoft sad.

Don't forget that AC Liberation is only a single format, where as RE6 is multi-format, with those formats being more widely spread and the game itself appealing to a wider audience that don't always go by game reviews.

True, but Layton is doing better then both RE 6 and AC Liberations, in it's second week, and that's single format as well. But then again, that's really dependant on the size of the install base. Layton and RE6 probably sold units to a much smaller percentage of it's platform/s install base then AC: liberation did to the vita install base.

So relative to the vita's install base the game is doing really well. It's obvious the people like the games, Sony just needs more people on the platform.

Exactly. The 3DS/DS install base is much bigger. If the Vita's install base was bigger there'd be more sales of the game and it would chart higher.

When you take into account that AC Liberation is single format only and according to sales not many people own a vita well nowhere near as many as the other consoles placing in 14th is not so bad and as PB said it would chart much higher with a larger install base.

Its been very slow but i reckon vita will crawl to success eventually, the games are finally coming and if all the negative press takes a break this holiday season could be quite fruitful

The whole point of exclusives is to increase the consoles install base!

The game hasn't done that and if a new console can't get a major game during this period in the top ten then it's a flop.

Keep worshiping the console because it's not gonna crawl to success as you put it all the time.
