"solid, if a little disappointing"

Exactly how I would describe Alan Wake.

I'm surprised it's done that well considering there has been no advertisement.

Yeah, but for people who keep up with videogames, Lost Planet 2 has been ripped apart by the majority of those who've played it.

I just get a hunch feeling that Remedy, thought that people would pick up the game seeing how long the game has been in development. Hence the reason of no advertisement as I think everybody has heard of Alan Wake because of how long it took.

Thats my opinion anyway lol.

Yeah, if you have the ability to save millions of pounds on advertising, you'd take it lol

I think Alan Wake's performance is pretty superb considering it is constrained by a single platform's install base. Lost Planet 2 on the other hand must have really dissapointed Capcom considering that a) it's a sequel, b) had strong marketing and c) had multiple platforms to sell across.

Skate 3's sales seem a bit low but skating certainly isn't for everyone. Also, who the hell is still buying Just Dance?!

Don't even start on Just Dance...
It actually pisses me off that so little effort goes into a game that so many people buy. I doubt they properly enjoy it either.

Was just about to say the same Chris. TU

@James just look to your left LP2 is right there.

Remedy are not in charge of advertisement and they had no part of the distribution of the Bright Falls prequel. I think the game being brought forward a week was the key to lack of advertisement here. Apparently in US there is a big advertisement campaign that is running.
