| I gave up on hide and seek. Too much annoying pop-up and a grating 16-bit sound quality, but at least you can customise the soundtrack. I liked the free-roaming aspect but hated getting hung up on corners, collision detection seemed to go downhill after a few pints, maybe they'll fix that in the sequel.
Speaking of retro, I've been playing Test Drive Unlimited and I've got this secret urge to dig out Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 on the 360 for a few more holes in one, but mainly I've been killing stuff over and over in Phantasy Star Universe in a psychotic attempt to make lots of little numbers increase across a variety of disciplines. |

Nah, RL had it's last patch awhile ago, however i have heard those hacker scientist guys have been making up these things called nanomachines to make richer characters more intelligent.
Once again, the n00bs always lose out. |

I read that article over on the beeb news pages, something along the lines of machines will be our equal in intelligence by the year 2029, so you can just inject yourself with a few nanomachines to tweak your synapses instead of going to school and learning stuff the old fashioned way.
All sounds great until you get a griefer like me running about the high street letting off a short-range EMP blast every now and then and watching everyone collapse on the pavement and start drooling because I melted their nanos.
Obviously it has ramifications for the "What We've Been Beating Wesley At This Week" series of articles. "What Our Machines Have Been Playing For Us" could be a distinct possibility.
