What we've been playing this week.

I actually liked the story in Dante's Inferno, it's worth playing through to the end just to see Satan's massive dong. I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the sequel.
Fifa 11 and Vanquish for me this week.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - Brilliant game, intresting story, a very unique game, Nightmare sections suck and the puzzles. Well, they're just bloody genious. Also, more games need to 'profile' you.
Dragon Age: Origins - My copy of the Ultimate edition came the other day, something which I had been wanting to get my hands on for a while and while I have only completed the Witch Hunt DLC, I have already found myself being draw back into the land of Ferelden.
Vanquish - I'm not really sure what I think of this to be honest. It seems a little bit like nigh-adreneline fight, after high-adreneline fight, which isn't a bad thing at all, it just needs something... more.

Fallout New Vegas - Kept thinking to myself this game isn't as good as it should be, then checked my save and my play time for far is 45 hours!! the game must be doing something right.
Medal of Honor - Fun but very short! glad it was only £15, wouldn't have been happy if I had paid £40.

Mafia 2, Got a 1000 gamerscore at the start of the week. There is a lot of driving in the main story but very much enjoyed it. While I getting all the wanted posters I found places I had never seen before.
Fallout 3, I was thinking about going back and finishing off the Karma achievements with an old save but blowing up Megaton was a bad idea and couldn't level my karma so will start that again. Also found out I've out 127 hours into it.
Battlefield Bad Company 2: Found myself all alone on a server so blew up the all the M Com stations and got a badge I couldn't get. Once someone did join had some great car and mouse moments.
@Martin I'm going to start on my Dead Rising 2 game and I know a few others have been playing too so sure we can all muster up a game a TiR

@Pearson - Dante's Inferno like Lara Croft: GoL? In what way...
Overall I have been playing quite a few games this week.
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Fallout: New Vegas
Really am enjoying Dead Space at the moment. Cannot wait for Dead Space 2.

Eragon for me this week. Yes, Eragon. I'm just wracking up an allegedly easy 1000 GS but I'm struggling with the flying sections. If I wasn't working silly shifts I'd have nailed this in a day and moved onto something more fun but hey ho, the plus side of working is that my 'to get around to' pile is now growing ever faster and being looked at enviously by some professional mountain climbers.
I have two days off after today so hopefully something more interesting will occur next week.

This was the week I finally got round to unzipping the MAME shmups special version.
Yeah, that was a mistake... Ketsui is terrifying!
Other than that, I also got Donkey Kong Country Returns, put it into the Wii, and promptly flew through World 1 having an absolute blast! Why they just didn't call it DKC 4 is beyond me.

It's been a pretty good week. Many thanks to the VG crew.
