| I spent the week killing Crawmerax in Borderlands. I have had one Pearlescent drop (from a random Midget) that was quickly replaced by a level 68 Purple from the Knox's Armory. Stuff dies rather quickly now but Badass Skags - or worse - outside of Fyrestone can still be troublesome.
I won another Poker Tourament bringing my future (because it's currently disabled due to glitchers) Roulette bankroll to $32m, assuming Eden/Atari are still working on the Test Drive Unlimited 2 content update which they've already released for PC but have held back for consoles for a whopping 5 months.
And I reached level 15 on Farm Town on Facebook. I think I'll concentrate on fine wines and fishing but it's early days yet. |

| This week, I have spent far more time BUYING games than I have done actually playing them. Blame the combination of Steam sale, girlfriend being at home from work ill (which inevitably means I just give in and let her play whatever she wants to), and £200 extra in my bank account due to finally being paid for the holidays I took in December last year! I also played plenty of demos on XBLA, PSN, and Steam.
The only game I have really gotten to spend any real amount of time with is the pleasantly surprising Hunted: The Demon's Forge, which I picked up for £20 brand-new in Morisson's. It is basically Gears of Warcraft, which really isn't a bad thing at all. |

| Been playing a mixture of games, but I have really shined to Red Faction: Armageddon. (Thanks brother) I really love the Magnet Gun, and being able to fire it on enemies and watch them fly through buildings, in turn for them to collapse in the process.
I have also got back into Mortal Kombat and using Scorpion more efficiently than ever before in a MK game. Its usually Shang Tsung that I use and Sub-Zero, but I'm getting use to Scorpion as his teleport move, which comes very handy for those that don't expect the move.
James Bond: Blood Stone & Goldeneye have also been played. Blood Stone is a fantastic gem for the price of paying £10 for. Bargain, and thank god I waited for the price to drop down to such price. Goldeneye on the Wii brings back some memories, even though I detest about the radical changes to the level designs. Goldeneye does play well, and Daniel Craig plays a very good Bond, film & game which works well for the franchise. |

| Don't forget Ghostbusters! Still chasing down the elusive final multiplayer achievements - still, there seems to be an active playerbase of various skill levels, which is good... (but annoying when trying to work with friends... :/)
And Farcry 2 - such a big game! Managed to track down all 221 hidden diamond briefcases, so just got the main campaign missions to do, and that could be the game completely finished - well worth the trade-in of Hot Pursuit! |

| Just so you know Sonic 3s last boss wasn't intended to be the final boss, if you want that i suggest you look for the Doomsday Zone.
Remember kids, because of the hardware limitations of a cartridge Sonic 3 had to be split into 2 parts, the other part being Sonic and Knuckles, combine these two games to get what's considered the finest Sonic......nay, the finest 2d game of all time. |

| I would say Sonic 2 is still better, but S3&K is pretty damn good. Intended or not intended, though, the final boss in Sonic 3 is still duff. It's just not a fun one to fight. |

| Mushroom cavern in S&K is FAR greater than... that cave level we ended up getting in Sonic 2 (I forget the name). Still, Hilltop Zone and Aquatic Ruin made up for it somewhat. |

| Mystic Cave Zone? Yea... I always forget about Mystic Cave Zone. Sonic 2 is also responsible for starting the trend of annoying casino-based levels that seem to blight every single Sonic game nowadays.
On second thought, ***** Sonic 2. |

| Mystic Cave Zone was so god damn annoying, i hated it with a passion that i had to get my younger brother to do the stage for me when we were still kids.
Still.....it could be worse, it could be Sonic 3d.... |
