Been playing COD5 today on the PS3. I do not know why but it has this grip-hold over you, and wants you to continue playing. Well I guess its because I'd prestiged to my second.
Reading what you put Wes about Fallout 3, is making me want to play it. I think a couple hour Fallout 3 session tomorrow morning on the 360.

I've been failing with my PS2 and PC. Started by digging out EverQuest Online Adventures just for old times sake (just to listen to the theme tune, they shut down the European servers 3 years ago) then got excited when it actually connected, went through DNAS authorisation, downloaded an update... then couldn't find a server. So I then spent several hours trying to figure out if it was possible to connect to an SOE server abroad without importing an NTSC PS2 and NTSC copy of the game, and gave up. Fail. But hey, good memories from that.
Got over it by kicking butt on Amplitude for a few hours which got me nicely back into my trance gaming state, which for some obscure reason prodded me to pop in Final Fantasy VII. Ahhhh, the memories, Cloud slashing his way through the train station into the Mako reactor, Barrett joining up with him and helping out with his arm-grafted machine gun, then getting to the first save point and forgetting I didn't have an original PSOne memory card. Fail.
Rogue Galaxy was up next, cracking RPG from Level-5 and suitably HUGE, so huge in fact that I know I'm not going to have time to get to grips with it before the 360 gets back from the Rheinland Repair shop, so I placed it carefully to one side in anticipation of my next red ring of death.
Nearly popped in Need for Speed: Underground then remembered I can't stand the drifting sections, so in an RPG-addict fuelled spurt of desperation remembered that I'd once tried the EVE-online demo but never got into it, so downloaded the free trial, read a 'newbie 15-day survival guide', then put it to one side thinking that I might never get into it again.
In a final act of randomness, I clicked on a Runescape banner. Heard a lot about this game but didn't realise that all you to do play is type in a character name, password and you're off, it plays in your browser without any downloading whatsoever or having to go out an buy a boxed copy. I have found my temporary 'level up as many things as you can' Java nirvana. I will now spend the next few days doing nothing but cutting down trees and lighting fires just because I can.
If gamescore is inversely proportional to price then Runescape is an easy 10/10. If I had to pay £39.99 for it or pay the £3.50 per month sub for 'extra member perks' (more numbers to level up) I'd probably give it a 6/10, mostly because my PC struggles with Windows Minesweeper and Runescape is demanding a lot of it. But hey, it's a nice temporary fix.

Been playing Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, very addictive and you get straight into the action as of the squad commands.
Been playing COD4 on the 360 and its surprising to see so many on it, while you have COD5 out. Looking forward to COD6 really and I'm not buying COD5 as of COD4 is still too good.

Still playing with my Death Knight with the PC Gamer UK guild on Steamwheedle Cartel. This weekend we totally kicked Onyxia's scaly butt. I say "we", but in fact it was our resident super-skilled level 80 Death Knight who practically soloed her, while the rest of us stayed out of the way and tried not to die. (And failed)
Still, I got some great screenshots, though!
