Allow me to be the first of the countless many who say Skyrim. It really is spectacular. Were it not for an hour to kill yesterday before my bus and a fully-loaded bank card, I would not have played anything else at all. However, spare time and impulse meant that I bought Super Mario 3D Land, and even though I have literally just completed the first world, I can already see that this is the usual Nintendo genius. The first castle made me grin like a goon!

Second call for Skyrim... just hit level 41, and must crack on with non-Side Quests... just found the Traveller Stone, which should come in very handy!

Otherwise, joined a few Guitar Hero multiplayer sessions, for the sole purpose of moppoing up a lad of achievements I've been meaning to get for a long time. Oh, how the fingers did ache afterwards! Tongue

I had every intention of playing Saints Row 3, which I haven't touched since Wido and I had a go on co-op... *must* get back into that this coming week.

Skyrim!! Smile
It has been a long time since I last enjoyed a game this much that I couldn't wait to wake up the next day to play on it again. I'm forcing myself to have an hour without it after I wake up so I don't feel like too much of a gamer geek but it has been hard.
The time has finally come to jump straight back into Skyrim.
I've put about 11 hours in so far over a space of 3 days and only just killed my first dragon. My list of side quests is ever increasing and I'm starting to forget where I even found some of them. (I've picked up a few from reading some random books)
I can see this being my GOTY! Smile

*I've also played MW3 but WHO CARES?!* Grin

Just completed Saints Row 3 and loved pretty much every bitGrin So daft, so silly, it's one of those game were you make your own set-pieces. You can make your own bonkers adventure although there are few niggles here and there. If you don't put in the time to do the side quests and activities it's a pretty short game but I've already put over 30 hours into and I still want more.

Got my copy of Skyrim a few days ago (thanks VG) and started off with a about an hours play. Definately gave me a better impression than Oblivion did. Definately want to get into it a bit more, but SR3 is still holding my attention.

Just started playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. People are gonna hate me for this, but I think the whole series is kinda overrated. Don't get me wrong, I find the games to be pretty damn solid, but just kinda overrated.

I find the whole base engine to be pretty solid, and the graphics and art style are 2nd to none. I find the story to be kinda interesting, and that it always leave you wanting for more. However, the story just feels too much like the TV series 'LOST' IMO - to me it feels too much like the writers are just making it up as they go... but hey I haven't finished the series yet, so who knows, I might end up loving it by the time I get to Revelations. Must also say that thus far everything in the games, from the side objectives to the main quest lines - I just find the series to be overly repetitive, to the point where I'm bored outta my wits and just going through the motions.

Anyways with all the praises going around I'm kinda tempted to go start Skyrim... but blah too many older games to go through first, one of which is (heh) Oblivion.

I played 2 RPGs this week, each with a zillion things to unlock, called Skyrim and Forza 4. Also played a lot of Poker in Test Drive Unlimited 2 after Daughter Number One put it in the tray and I just left it there for a couple of days letting it feed my 'creep up the leaderboards just a little bit more' fix.

Interesting stat, after 6 hours of Forza 4:
Time spent driving 1h 54m, Time spent in menus 1h 19m

I've lost 3 hours of my life somewhere.
