Question for those of you with a U - are you happy with your purchase? Is it even worth considering at this stage?

I'm happy with the Wii U, though it does need more big games to encourage further sales.

NSMBU, Transformers Prime and Zombie U have been my most played games on my own, while family time has been taken with Tank Tank Tank and Nintendo Land.

Just got Black Ops 2 to try out on the console, as well.

I feel that it needs to have more original content, though, rather than too many ports. Or if ports are done, make them more like NFS Most Wanted where the console is used to its advantage.

Doesn't help that 2 big releases were messed up; Scribblenauts Unlimited and Rayman Legends.

Really looking forward to Lego City Undercover, though.

Lego City is gonna be multi-platform though I thought. Problem with these consoles is that 97.5372% of the games are available on the other platforms, giving gamers a lot less incentive to buy them. I'm tempted by the U, but... meh, probably not gonna happen.

I think it's worth it to me, but I'm biased in the end. I'm really like NSMBU and can't wait for Lego City Undercover. Nintendo land is good too. I think it really is worth waiting at least until E3. Nintendo know their down, but they are certainly NOT out. It's still the first year and it still can turn around, like with the 3DS and with the Vita in Japan now.

Launch periods/ era's for consoles are never good, and whilst the Nextbox and PS4 ones may not be as bad, they still will have a baren era of no games to begin with.

Ah right, I was thinking of... LEGO Marvel Super Heroes I think. Not a LEGO fanatic, so not bothered with that game, though I was tempted to buy one for playing Wii games and for Monster Hunter - but since it's gonna be on the 3DS as well...

I don't know. In the past gens you KNOW there will be a ton of unique and system exclusive titles coming post launch. Like I said however nowadays the bulk of the games are multi-platform which makes buying a game-only console almost kinda silly.
