Not exactly top titles, but a good sale none-the-less.

Some have suggested that it's a reaction to the massive Playstation+ deal at the moment.

Look....

I know that there are some pretty average games in that list, some games that you really wouldn't want dirtying your hard drive. But, there are one or two that you have wondered about. Maybe Kameo? Maybe Prince of Persia? Sure, you've seen them in GAME for £5 and never bothered, you maybe even saw Perfect Dark Zero for 99p and STILL didn't bother?

Throw that thinking away. This sale NEEDS to succeed. We need MS to make more money from every single one of those titles this week than they did the week before and will do the week after. Not just more copies sold, more money made. With some titles, this will be achieved after the first person buys it, but there are a couple that strange people might actually still be buying. Regardless, we need them ALL to sell. It is in the interests of every single one of us that MS realise how stubborn and misguided they are being over the Games on Demand pricing. For, if this sale makes more money, then MS will do it again. Know what MS likes more than anything in the world?

Money.

Spread the word. Tweet it. Facebook it. Phone random numbers and tell them about it. Tattoo it on to drunk people's faces. Do whatever you have to! If there is anything on the list you have considered buying before but didn't trust it because it was pre-owned, this is the time to go for it. Steam knows that people like to buy things in sales, SONY and MS seem to slowly be realising it as well, but the nail still needs one or two more taps to finally get all the way in. Let's do our bit to help.

An interesting thought. At the least it will encourage more sales like this.

Oh and Kameo is well worth the price, even if it was a launch title back in the day, it's still a great game.

Thank you Lee.

I can highly recommend Conan - for the time, the range of fighting styles was impressive, and the bosses were Hard. Extremely hard, if I recall correctly. Been meaning to have a playthrough again for a while now...

I shall certainly be purchasing a digital copy of Prince of Persia.

So it wasn't the half naked women in Conan that drew you to it, then? Grin

That reminds me, I found/rescued all but one back in the day (which ticked me off), but perish the thought pb... Wink It was a 2006 game, right...? Having separate skill trees for single-handed, dual wielding, and two-handed weapons, which you could pick up from disarmed foes in the midst of combat, I thought was a truly good mechanic.

It was a good game, I certainly remember enjoying what little I had a chance of playing and I'm tempted to get hold of it again.

If only they'd decided to offer Beautiful Katamari instead of Tornado Outbreak...
